Establishes the declining school enrollment study committee consisting of school superintendents, teachers, counselors, parents, school board members, and a Department of Child Safety representative.

Committee must examine causes of decreased enrollment in public schools, identify alternative educational options used by parents and children due to COVID-19, and identify the number of children no longer enrolled in school due to pandemic-related closures.

Committee shall submit findings and recommendations to the governor, president of the senate, speaker of the house of representatives, and secretary of state on or before March 1, 2022.

Section is repealed effective June 30, 2022.
