Recognizes the commitment, courage, and selflessness of police, fire, emergency services, and other first responders who risk their safety daily to protect the public.

Acknowledges first responders as vital community members who serve 24 hours a day, make critical split-second decisions, and volunteer in schools and community organizations.

Highlights the collective efforts of career and volunteer personnel from police, fire, emergency medical services, search and rescue, and other public safety organizations during emergencies.
