• Commends the courage, dedication and sacrifice of United States Border Patrol agents and recognizes their vital role in safeguarding Arizona and the nation

• Acknowledges Border Patrol's primary responsibility for securing 1,993 miles of varied terrain along the southern border between ports of entry and their work detecting and preventing illegal trafficking of people, narcotics and contraband

• Notes that in June 2019, over 100,000 individuals were apprehended at the southern border, representing a 140% increase compared to June 2018

• Directs the Arizona Secretary of State to transmit copies of this resolution to the President of the United States and each Member of Congress from Arizona
