Recognizes the importance of outdoor recreation to Arizona residents' physical, mental and social well-being, and its economic contribution of 201,000 jobs and $21.2 billion in annual consumer spending.

Acknowledges that scientific research demonstrates time in nature provides physical, developmental and behavioral health benefits for both children and adults.

Calls for equitable access to outdoor opportunities for all Arizona residents, including activities such as hiking, fishing, hunting, mountain biking, wildlife watching and stargazing on public lands and natural areas.

Encourages residents to learn about and respect indigenous cultural resources including petroglyphs, pictographs and sacred landscapes.

Promotes stewardship of Arizona's outdoor places and landscapes to ensure future generations can enjoy these natural assets while respecting private property rights.
