Designates Monday, March 1, 2021 as COVID-19 Memorial Day in Arizona to honor those who died from and continue to suffer from COVID-19.

Acknowledges that more than 2,000,000 people worldwide and 456,000 in the United States have died from COVID-19, with over 13,000 deaths in Arizona.

Recognizes the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on low-income communities and communities of color, and acknowledges long-term health implications for survivors.

Expresses support for continued preventive measures including social distancing, wearing masks in public, and following public health orders to mitigate virus spread.

Honors essential workers and public servants for their sacrifices and actions taken to protect communities and support local economies during the pandemic.
