Honors Charlene Powers-Broadbent, a leader in the Arizona insurance industry for over 30 years, who died on January 17, 2021 in Goodyear at age 65 from COVID-related symptoms.

Recognizes her career achievements including founding and managing Powers-Leavitt Insurance Agency and becoming one of Arizona's largest agricultural insurance producers.

Acknowledges her extensive community service in Buckeye, including founding the Chamber of Commerce and Mainstreet Coalition, serving on school education foundations, and coordinating fundraising that secured approximately $500 million for school facilities and teacher raises over 25 years.

Notes her leadership on the restoration of the 25-foot Hobo Joe statue in downtown Buckeye through fundraising and personal donations.

Extends the House of Representatives' deepest sympathies to her surviving family: husband Jay, three children, four grandchildren, sister Susan, and brother Richard.
