Honors Chief Robert T. "Bob" Costello, longtime member of the Buckeye Fire Department, who passed away on April 8, 2021, at age 62.

Recognizes Costello's 30-year career in fire services, including work with Rural Metro, Peoria Police Department, Arizona State Fire Marshal's Office, and the City of Buckeye Fire Medical Rescue Department as fire chief from 2008 until his death.

Acknowledges his leadership in modernizing the Buckeye Fire Department, establishing the Buckeye Fire Paramedicine Program that gained national recognition, and managing the Louis B. Hazelton Memorial Cemetery.

Notes his service on the Arizona Emergency Medical Services Council and as a certified trainer at six Arizona community colleges for over 20 years, plus awards including the Buckeye Heroism Award and induction into the Arizona Fire Service Hall of Fame.

Expresses the Arizona House of Representatives' deepest condolences to his wife Wanell, brother Michael, and the Buckeye community.
