Grants parents of current or prospective public school students the right to review learning materials and activities in advance and withdraw their child from materials they deem harmful based on sexual content, violent content, or profane/vulgar language.

Requires all school district schools and charter schools to prominently display on their websites by August 1, 2021: procedures for parent access to review materials, documentation of principal/staff review processes or a statement that none exist, and either lesson plans or a detailed listing of learning materials and activities organized by subject and grade.

Requires schools to list learning materials with at least title and author/organization information but does not require digital reproduction of materials; digital volumes with multiple authors must provide table of contents or internet address disclosing discrete works.

Allows charter schools to require parents to waive objection rights as an enrollment condition if the school provides a complete materials list beforehand, but parents retain rights to object to newly introduced materials.

Requires written parental consent before schools use video, audio, or electronic materials that may be inappropriate for a student's age; materials must remain accessible on school websites for at least 12 months.
