Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 16-673 to change the deadline for filing an election contest statement from five days to thirty days after completion of the canvass and declaration of election results by the secretary of state or governor.

Requires the statement of contest to be filed in the court where the contest is commenced and must include the name and residence of the person contesting the election, along with verification that they are an elector of the state and county.

Specifies that the contest statement must identify the person whose right to office is contested, or identify the measure, constitutional amendment, or other proposition as it appeared on the official ballot.

Requires the statement to identify the specific office for which the election is being contested and set forth the particular grounds of the contest.

Mandates that the statement be verified by affidavit of the person contesting the election confirming they believe the matters contained in the statement are true.
