Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 16-661 to change the automatic recount threshold for elections.

Changes the recount requirement margin from the lesser of multiple specific vote thresholds to one-half of one percent of the total number of votes cast for candidates or measures.

Eliminates previous separate thresholds of 200 votes for state offices with over 25,000 votes cast, 50 votes for state offices with 25,000 or fewer votes cast, 50 votes for legislature members, and 10 votes for local offices.

Maintains the exemption for automatic recounts in precinct committeeman, school district, community college district, fire district, and other special district elections.
