AZ SB1129

Requires the Department of Corrections director to notify the Industrial Commission of Arizona when a prisoner is injured while engaged in productive work in state prisons, private prisons under contract, or while working for private employers under section 41-1624.01.

Mandates notification be provided in the same manner as if the prisoner were eligible for workers' compensation under Arizona Title 23, Chapter 6.

Explicitly states this section does not provide benefits to injured prisoners.
