AZ SB1205

Amends Arizona law regarding justification for using deadly physical force against another person.

Adds new restrictions prohibiting use of deadly physical force if a person leaves a place of safety to actively pursue another person engaged in a lawful activity.

Prohibits use of deadly physical force if a person continues to pursue another person after a law enforcement officer requests that the person retreat to a place of safety.

Preserves the existing right to use deadly physical force without a duty to retreat when a person is in a place where they may legally be and is not engaged in an unlawful act.
