SB 1283 Summary

• Repeals section 41-3021.14 of Arizona Revised Statutes and adds section 41-3029.14 to continue the State Board of Podiatry Examiners.

• Sets the termination date of the State Board of Podiatry Examiners for July 1, 2029.

• Repeals Title 32, Chapter 7 (podiatry licensure regulations) and the new continuation statute on January 1, 2030.

• Continues the board to promote the professional and safe practice of podiatry in Arizona, consistent with statutory review requirements.

• Applies retroactively to July 1, 2021; approved by the Governor on April 28, 2021.
