County attorneys must submit monthly reports to the Arizona Criminal Justice Commission beginning January 1, 2022, for 24 consecutive months detailing criminal case statistics including indictments, plea agreements, trial presentations, and sentencing information.

Reports must include aggregate data on misdemeanor and felony cases by defendant, broken down by offense type, conviction method, sentencing ranges for first-time and repetitive felony offenders, and drug-related charge amounts.

County attorneys must report demographic information (age, race/ethnicity, declared gender) for each defendant and provide details on prior felony charges and convictions in Arizona.

The Arizona Criminal Justice Commission must post all received reports on its public website in perpetually accessible format.

$150,000 is appropriated from the Drug and Gang Enforcement Resource Center Fund in fiscal years 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 to county attorneys' offices to cover reporting costs; the reporting requirement repeals June 30, 2024.
