AZ SB1341

Amends the dual enrollment and college credit by examination incentive program to include qualifying dual enrollment courses offered by community college districts alongside qualifying examinations.

Establishes a new incentive bonus starting in fiscal year 2022-2023 for students in grades 9-12 who complete qualifying dual enrollment courses with a passing grade at schools where 50% or more students are eligible for free or reduced-price lunches, generating a $450 bonus per course.

Requires school districts and charter schools to distribute at least 50% of bonus monies to the classroom teacher and relevant subject teachers who instructed the student.

Requires community college district governing boards to maintain and submit annually a list of qualifying dual enrollment courses and required passing grades to the department of education and joint legislative budget committee.

Sets program termination date of July 1, 2026 pursuant to Arizona's sunset review process.
