Requires the Arizona State Board of Education to include mental health instruction in all health education courses as part of the course of study and competency requirements.

Mental health instruction may be integrated into existing health courses or other courses and must address the connection between physical and mental health, social-emotional learning, and behaviors that promote overall well-being.

Mandates the State Board of Education consult with mental health experts, the Arizona Department of Health Services, state-based mental health advocacy organizations, and the Department of Education when adopting mental health instruction requirements.
