Prohibits use of force as a justified defense if the force is in response to discovery or disclosure of a victim's gender identity or sexual orientation, or in response to a nonviolent romantic or sexual advance.

Bars defendants from claiming a lower degree of culpability based on the victim's gender identity, sexual orientation, or a nonviolent romantic or sexual advance made toward the defendant.

Eliminates "adequate provocation" defense for crimes committed under the immediate influence of sudden quarrel or heat of passion when the provocation involves discovery or disclosure of the victim's gender identity, sexual orientation, or nonviolent sexual advances.

Applies the statute regardless of whether the defendant's knowledge, discovery, or belief about the victim's gender identity or sexual orientation was accurate.

Defines "gender identity" as a person's actual or perceived gender-related identity, expression, appearance, mannerisms, or characteristics regardless of designated sex at birth, and "sexual orientation" as actual or perceived heterosexuality, homosexuality, or bisexuality.
