• Prohibits abortion when performed knowing the abortion is sought solely because of a genetic abnormality of the unborn child, making it a class 6 felony except in medical emergencies.

• Establishes that state laws shall acknowledge unborn children at every stage of development possess all rights, privileges and immunities available to other persons, subject to U.S. Constitution and Supreme Court decisions.

• Prohibits abortion-inducing drugs from being provided via courier, delivery, or mail service; requires only qualified physicians to provide such drugs in accordance with chapter requirements.

• Bans abortion facilities operated by or on property of public educational institutions except when necessary to save the woman's life.

• Requires expanded reporting requirements for abortions including whether genetic abnormalities were detected and the woman's choice regarding final disposition of fetal bodily remains; prohibits use of public monies for research involving fetal remains from abortion.
