Allows courts to designate undesignated class 6 felonies as misdemeanors after successful completion of probation, unless the defendant has two or more prior felony convictions.

Requires undesignated offenses to be treated as felony convictions for purposes of felony probation placement, firearm rights determinations, prior conviction enhancements, and impeachment evidence until the court enters a final designation order.

Permits courts to designate an undesignated offense as a misdemeanor upon the defendant's successful fulfillment of probation conditions, even if the defendant has outstanding monetary obligations other than victim restitution.

Maintains existing provisions allowing prosecutors to file charges designating offenses as misdemeanors either in the initial complaint or through amendment before or during preliminary hearing with defendant consent.
