Establishes the Alzheimer's Disease and Other Dementias Advisory Council to examine needs of individuals with Alzheimer's disease or other dementias, available services, and healthcare provider capacity.

Council consists of 11 voting members appointed by the Department of Health Services director, including individuals with dementia, family caregivers, healthcare providers, researchers, and representatives from nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and advocacy organizations.

Voting members serve two-year terms with meetings held at least quarterly; nonvoting members include directors from the Department of Health Services, Department of Economic Security, Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System, Department of Public Safety, and state long-term care ombudsman.

Advisory council shall develop recommendations on dementia surveillance systems, workforce availability, care quality measures, training requirements, research, and public awareness strategies for state implementation.

Council must submit a comprehensive State Alzheimer's Plan within 18 months and annual implementation reports to the governor and legislature; the council terminates June 30, 2029.
