All interscholastic, intercollegiate, intramural and club athletic teams sponsored by Arizona educational institutions must be designated as males/men/boys, females/women/girls, or coed based on biological sex.

Female-designated athletic teams cannot be open to students of the male sex.

Students may establish their biological sex through a physician's statement examining reproductive anatomy, testosterone levels, and genetic makeup, with exceptions for those with medically verifiable genetic disorders of sex development.

Creates private causes of action for students deprived of athletic opportunities, students subjected to retaliation for reporting violations, and educational institutions harmed by violations, with a 2-year statute of limitations and attorney fees available to prevailing parties.

Prohibits governmental entities, licensing organizations, and athletic associations from investigating or taking adverse action against educational institutions for maintaining separate female athletic teams.
