Amends section 9-812 of Arizona Revised Statutes regarding publication of notices and ordinances by cities and towns.

Removes the requirement that notices be published "as provided by section 39-204" and instead allows publication in either a newspaper printed and published within the city or town, or a newspaper printed and published within the county with greater circulation to city or town residents.

Maintains existing requirement that private persons pay for publication expenses of laws or ordinances enacted on their behalf and may designate the newspaper.

Extends publication requirements in subsection A to notices and resolutions requiring newspaper publication under title 48, chapter 4, unless otherwise specified in that title.

Effective April 20, 2021.
