• Mandates ultrasound imaging and fetal heart tone auscultation at least 24 hours before abortion, with opportunity for patient to view images and hear heartbeat.

• Expands informed consent requirements to include information about perinatal hospice services for lethal fetal conditions and support services for nonlethal fetal conditions.

• Establishes reporting requirements for abortion clinics and providers to submit detailed information about each abortion performed, including patient demographics, procedure type, medical complications, and basis for any medical emergency exemptions.
