Establishes a childhood trauma awareness and prevention training program within the Arizona Department of Education beginning in the 2022-2023 school year for certificated teachers and administrators in public schools.

Training must cover types of poverty, adverse effects of childhood trauma on brain development and learning, impacts on academic achievement and social development, and student demographics including free/reduced lunch eligibility, English language status, mobility status, cultural background, and family dynamics.

Allows training to count as continuing education credits and permits the department to partner with nonprofit organizations to provide training that is optional for educators.

Establishes a grant program fund allowing grants to be issued to pay for teacher and administrator attendance at training, with grants subject to legislative appropriation and continuously available funds exempt from lapsing.

Appropriates $100,000 from the state general fund in fiscal year 2021-2022 to the grant program fund, with the program set to terminate July 1, 2031.
