SB1820 - Capital Outlay Appropriations 2021-2022

• Amends Laws 2020, chapter 57, section 6 to extend reversion dates for $3.759 million and $3.875 million in appropriations to the Department of Emergency and Military Affairs for readiness center construction from 2022-2023 to 2026

• Appropriates $24.2 million for state building renewal ($6.2 million from general fund, $18 million from capital outlay stabilization fund) to the Department of Administration for major maintenance and repair

• Appropriates $28.07 million to the State Department of Corrections for building renewal and maintenance projects

• Appropriates funds for specific capital projects including $11.9 million for historic capitol building repairs, $2.8 million for building demolition at Jefferson Street locations, $3.5 million for capitol mall air handler replacement, and $25 million for veterans' home facility construction in northwestern Arizona

• Appropriates $361.1 million from the state highway fund for statewide highway construction projects and $26 million from the state aviation fund for airport planning and development in fiscal year 2021-2022
