• Establishes procedures for conditional release hearings, including requirements for mental health reports, risk assessments, and involvement of treatment supervisors in court proceedings.

• Allows courts to transfer cases back to superior court for sentencing or supervised probation when defendants no longer need mental health treatment or are dangerous.

• Phases out the Psychiatric Security Review Board by repealing Title 31, Chapter 4 and related provisions effective June 30, 2023.
