Arizona Department of Housing shall provide emergency shelter beds in western Maricopa County for homeless seniors age 55 and older.

Department must contract with a single Arizona nonprofit provider that has experience sheltering 400 or more homeless individuals nightly in temporary shelter.

Selected provider must have at least 10 years of experience serving chronically homeless individuals in Maricopa County.

Provider must offer housing placement services under the Housing First model and participate in the Maricopa Continuum of Care coordinated entry system.
