Concurrent memorial urging the United States Congress to pass and the President to sign legislation similar to the John Lewis Voting Rights Act.

Requests restoration of Section 4(b) of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, which was struck down by the Supreme Court in Shelby County v. Holder (2013).

Section 4(b) previously identified jurisdictions with a history of voting discrimination and required "preclearance" or federal approval before changes to voting laws could take effect.

Honors the legacy of Congressman John Lewis, who died July 17, 2020, and fought for voting rights throughout his 33-year congressional career.

Directs the Arizona Secretary of State to transmit copies of the memorial to the President, Vice President, Speaker of the House, and all Arizona members of Congress.
