AZ SCR1032

Proposes constitutional amendment to increase Arizona House of Representatives from 30 districts with 2 members each to 60 districts with 1 member each.

Requires Senate districts to remain at 30 and establishes that Senate and House district boundaries shall be separate and independent from one another.

Makes technical corrections to existing independent redistricting commission procedures, including clarifying that commission procedures are self-executing and establishing independent commission oversight.

Applies to redistricting beginning in 2031 and shall be fully applicable for legislative districts used in the 2032 primary and general election and all subsequent elections.

Requires submission of the proposition to Arizona voters at the next regular general election.
