AZ HB2007

Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 13-3411 to modify drug-free school zone reporting requirements for school personnel and administrators.

Requires school administrators to either immediately report drug violations to a peace officer OR refer the student to an appropriate at-risk student program if the violation involves a student.

Establishes that school personnel failing to report violations or make appropriate referrals is a class 3 misdemeanor.

Maintains existing penalties for drug possession, use, sale, or manufacture in drug-free school zones (areas within 300 feet of schools, 1,000 feet of public school property, school bus stops, or on school buses), including enhanced sentences of one additional year.

Requires courts to impose mandatory fines of at least $2,000 or three times the drug value (whichever is greater) on convictions, with no suspension allowed.
