Repeals sections 9-500.39, 11-269.17 and 42-1125.02 of Arizona Revised Statutes relating to vacation rentals and short-term rentals.

Removes language from section 42-2003 that allowed county, city or town tax officials to redisclose transaction privilege tax information for vacation rental or short-term rental property owners when enforcing local laws and regulations.

Adds civil penalties for online lodging operators who fail to list their transaction privilege tax license number on rental advertisements: $250 for first offense and $1,000 for second and subsequent offenses.

Defines "vacation rental" or "short-term rental" in section 42-5042 as single-family or one-to-four-family dwellings or condominium/cooperative units offered for transient use that are not classified for property taxation purposes and are not offered through online lodging marketplaces.
