Repeals sections 41-2832 and 41-2833 of Arizona Revised Statutes, which established the department of juvenile corrections local cost sharing fund.

Transfers all unexpended and unencumbered monies remaining in the repealed local cost sharing fund to the state general fund upon the effective date of this section.

Appropriates the transferred monies from the state general fund in fiscal year 2022-2023 to the department of administration for distribution to counties.

Distributes appropriated monies to each county in proportional shares based on population data from the most recent United States decennial census.
