Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 13-1213 regarding aiming laser pointers at peace officers and occupied aircraft.

Aiming a laser pointer at a peace officer is a class 5 felony if done intentionally or knowingly, and a class 1 misdemeanor if done recklessly.

Aiming a laser pointer at an occupied aircraft is a class 2 felony if it causes a crash or emergency landing, a class 3 felony if it renders the pilot unable to safely operate the aircraft, a class 6 felony if intentional or knowing, and a class 1 misdemeanor if reckless.

Redefines "laser pointer" to mean any device that emits an intense beam of light amplified by stimulated emission of electromagnetic radiation.
