Amends section 13-3102, Arizona Revised Statutes, regarding misconduct involving weapons to add definitions and clarifications related to public establishments and public events.

Defines "secured facility" as a public establishment or public event with either security personnel and electronic weapons screening devices at all entrances, or security personnel who electronically screen entrants and require those carrying deadly weapons to surrender them for temporary storage.

Permits persons with valid permits issued under section 13-3112 to carry deadly weapons in public establishments and public events, with specified exceptions including secured facilities, licensed premises of alcohol-serving establishments, judicial facilities, educational institutions, and areas prohibited by federal law.

Clarifies that operators of public establishments or sponsors of public events are not liable for acts or omissions related to weapon storage requirements unless they intended to cause injury or were grossly negligent.

Maintains existing criminal classifications for misconduct involving weapons violations, ranging from class 1 misdemeanor to class 2 felony depending on the specific conduct and circumstances.
