• Dismisses the disciplinary matter if investigation is not complete after the extension period concludes, unless conditions in subsection C apply.

• Permits employers to initiate new investigations upon discovery of newly discovered material evidence that could not have been found during the initial investigation period.

• Allows one-time extensions of 360 days (instead of 180 days) for employers subject to court-ordered monitoring.
