Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 41-1821 to modify membership requirements for the Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training Board.

Changes the requirement for two certified law enforcement officers on the board from "one with rank of officer and one with rank of deputy" to "neither serving in a supervisory capacity and both from different law enforcement agencies," with one from a county with population under 500,000.

Allows all board members serving on the effective date to continue until their terms expire, with the governor making subsequent appointments under the new statutory requirements.

Maintains the 13-member board composition including sheriffs, police chiefs, college faculty member, state officials, correctional facility administrator, law enforcement officers, and public members.
