HB 2352 Summary

• Repeals section 41-3022.18 of Arizona Revised Statutes and adds section 41-3025.07 to establish a termination date for the school facilities oversight board.

• School facilities oversight board terminates on July 1, 2025.

• Title 41, chapter 56 and related statutes are repealed on January 1, 2026 if either the board has no outstanding revenue bonds or lease-to-own transactions, or if the legislature has otherwise provided for paying or retiring outstanding bonds.

• If outstanding bonds or lease-to-own transactions remain after January 1, 2026, repeal is delayed thirty days after retirement of all such obligations.

• Legislature continues the school facilities oversight board to evaluate capital needs of school districts and distribute funds for facility deficiencies, building renewal, and new construction.
