Allows healthcare providers to meet notification requirements by providing information verbally, in writing, or by distributing a publication prepared by the Department of Health Services.

Mandates the Department of Health Services to prepare a gun safety pamphlet by January 2, 2023, containing information about gun storage and risks to children, and distribute it free of charge to healthcare providers and institutions on request.

Requires the Department of Health Services to post the gun safety pamphlet on its website and permits the department to accept gifts, grants, and donations for these purposes.

Appropriates $250,000 from the state general fund in fiscal year 2022-2023 to the Department of Health Services for preparing the gun safety pamphlet, with an exemption from standard appropriation lapsing provisions.
