Appropriates $400,000 from the state general fund in fiscal year 2022-2023 to the Arizona Department of Education for planting low-biogenic volatile organic compound-emitting trees on school campuses.

Until December 31, 2022, distributes funds on a first-come, first-served basis only to public schools where 75% or more of students are eligible for free or reduced-price lunches; remaining funds after that date available to all public schools.

Limits distribution to a maximum of $1,500 per school campus.

Allows the Department of Education to require schools receiving funds to submit reports on their use of the money, and permits schools to partner with nonprofit organizations for tree planting.

Exempts the appropriation from lapsing provisions under Arizona Revised Statutes section 35-190.
