AZ HB2444

Amends Arizona Revised Statutes to add section 16-962, extending the Citizens Clean Elections Act to county-level candidates for board of supervisors, assessor, attorney, recorder, school superintendent, sheriff, and treasurer.

Requires county candidates to collect a minimum of 200 qualifying contributions and file required reports with the county elections officer.

Establishes primary election spending limits based on county population: $1,500 for counties under 150,000 persons, $5,000 for counties with 150,000-499,999 persons, and $16,000 for counties with 500,000 or more persons.

Requires approval by a three-fourths affirmative vote of each house of the legislature to take effect, per Arizona Constitution article IV, part 1, section 1.
