• Mandates that a provider must have a previously established patient relationship before that patient can receive services under a collaborative practice agreement.

• Establishes that pharmacists are responsible for their own negligent acts resulting from clinical decisions made under collaborative practice agreements, while providers remain liable for their own negligent acts unrelated to pharmacist medication changes.

• Authorizes the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy, Medical Board, Osteopathic Board, and Board of Nursing to adopt rules relating to collaborative practice agreements.
