Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 23-1021.01 to expand the definition of "law enforcement employee" to include probation officers, corrections officers, and detention officers employed by the state or political subdivisions, in addition to peace officers.

Law enforcement employees and firefighters injured or killed while traveling directly to or from work are considered to be in the course and scope of employment for workers' compensation benefits eligibility, provided they are not engaged in criminal activity.

Clarifies that the statute does not create liability for employers for civil damages resulting from negligent or intentional conduct by law enforcement employees or firefighters while traveling to or from work.

Defines "employer" as any agency or department of the state or any county, city, town, or political subdivision of the state.
