Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 36-2982 to modify eligibility redetermination procedures for the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP).

Allows eligible members to remain enrolled in CHIP benefits for twelve months without redetermination, subject to federal approval under 42 U.S.C. section 1396a(e)(12) and federal regulations, unless the member exceeds the age of eligibility during that period.

Requires the administration to perform initial eligibility determinations and annual redeterminations for continued eligibility under the program.

Maintains existing requirements for copayments, premiums, health plan selection, primary care physician designation, and hardship exemptions from disenrollment.

Effective date: Approved by the Governor on July 5, 2022.
