Requires the state board of education to include instruction on Native American experience in academic standards for kindergarten through grade twelve beginning in the 2024-2025 school year, covering tribal history, sovereignty, culture, treaty rights, government, socioeconomic experiences and current events.

Mandates that Native American instruction be historically accurate, culturally relevant, community-based, contemporary and developmentally appropriate.

Requires the state board of education to provide professional development to teachers and administrators on Native American instruction and ensure federally recognized Indian tribes in Arizona have the opportunity to collaborate in developing curriculum and providing professional development.

Authorizes the state board of education to contract with entities to develop the Native American instruction curriculum or provide professional development to educators.

Requires the state board of education to submit implementation reports to the governor, legislature and secretary of state on October 15, 2023, October 15, 2024, and October 15, 2025.
