Appropriates $2,000,000 from the state general fund in fiscal year 2022-2023 to the Arizona Department of Education for a statewide electronic crisis intervention application.

Application must provide real-time crisis intervention services to students, teachers, school personnel, parents, and community members available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Application must be staffed by trained mental health counselors and integrate tip lines, text lines, and crisis lines while allowing for anonymous, confidential communication.

Legislature intends that the operational and maintenance portion of the appropriation be considered ongoing funding in future years.

Appropriation is exempt from lapsing of appropriations provisions under Arizona Revised Statutes section 35-190.
