Repeals and amends section 41-1279.03 of Arizona Revised Statutes regarding the auditor general's powers and duties.

Adds new requirement for the auditor general to conduct one or more audits of county elections for state and federal offices upon request of the house of representatives or senate, including reviews of voter rolls, election systems, voting equipment, and ballot tabulation equipment.

Appropriates $800,000 from the state general fund in fiscal year 2022-2023 to the office of the auditor general for purposes of this act.

Appropriates an unspecified amount from the state general fund in fiscal year 2022-2023 to the office of the attorney general for funding four additional attorneys for the election integrity unit.

Makes both appropriations exempt from lapsing provisions under section 35-190 of Arizona Revised Statutes.
