Amends Section 16-165 to require the secretary of state to obtain the full death file from the Social Security Administration beginning 90 days before each primary and general election and continuing weekly until election day.

Death records from Social Security Administration are to be used solely for canceling deceased persons from the statewide voter registration database, with public access and other uses prohibited.

Changes the frequency of death record transmission from the Department of Health Services from monthly to weekly in Section 16-165.

Updates Section 36-302 to require the state registrar to transmit death records to county recorders on a weekly basis instead of monthly.

The secretary of state shall promptly cancel deceased persons identified through Social Security records from the voter registration database and notify the appropriate county recorder.
