Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 13-1105 regarding first degree murder classifications and exceptions.

Repeals the exception that allowed prosecution to be avoided if a person was performing an abortion with proper consent.

Retains existing exceptions allowing persons performing medical treatment on a pregnant woman or her unborn child to avoid prosecution under this statute.

Retains the exception that the unborn child's mother cannot be prosecuted under this provision.

First degree murder remains classified as a Class 1 felony punishable by death or life imprisonment.
