Subjects psychotherapists who violate this prohibition to disciplinary action by their respective health profession regulatory boards.

Prohibits health profession regulatory boards from granting religious exemptions to the conversion therapy ban.

Defines conversion therapy as any practice or treatment seeking to change sexual orientation or gender identity, including efforts to change behaviors, gender expressions, or same-sex attractions.

Excludes from the definition treatments that assist with gender transition or provide acceptance, support, coping assistance, and identity exploration without seeking to change sexual orientation or gender identity.
