Urges U.S. Congress to prevent the closure of the Tucson Postal Processing and Distribution Center (Cherrybell) and restore its full operations.

Cherrybell serves 1.8 million people and 23,197 businesses across Pima, Santa Cruz, and Cochise counties in southern Arizona, processing over 2.6 million pieces of mail daily as the 15th largest USPS facility.

Closure would eliminate approximately 300 jobs in southern Arizona and move processing operations to Phoenix, which already faces staffing shortages and operational challenges.

A 2015 community survey found 84% of individuals and 86% of businesses experienced noticeable mail delivery delays from the partial closure; consolidation to Phoenix would worsen delays further.

Requests the Arizona Secretary of State transmit copies of the memorial to the President of the U.S. Senate, Speaker of the House, and all Arizona members of Congress.
